Children First School exists as a mission of First Presbyterian Church [link to FPC site]. Chapel is held each Friday for all students, although participation is not mandatory. We extend our services to all families on a non-denominational basis. Our program encourages the development of faith-based values such as respect for one's self and others, concern for the needy, care for our planet, and respect for other religions and cultures.

Children First began in 1957 as a mission of First Presbyterian Church when its pre-school program was established. It quickly grew from three half-days into 5 full-days. By 1992, the school had expanded to include elementary classes through sixth grade and the name changed from First School to Children First School...where children come first!
